How long does a divorce take?
Under the no-fault divorce process, an uncontested divorce typically takes 6–8 months from application to final order.
Do I need a solicitor to divorce?
No, but a solicitor will spot issues you might miss — particularly around finances, where a separate financial order is almost always advised.
